Italy won the world cup for the 4th time beating France. The Italians were nice enough to let the American team merge with their's in order to defeat France.

Belarus was disqualified after their team was discovered to be a bunch of bears.

After Italy won it was announced that the 2010 World Cup would be held in South Africa which does not exist. This means the next world cup will not take place until 2014 in Argentina.
