The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on September 7, 2008 in Los Angeles. Prior to the show starting all the winners leaked through The Internets. John McCain is the top winner beating out celebrities suchs as Britney Spears and Barack Hussein Obama. Wolf Blitzer won one awards and Bill O'Reilly won one award.

- Host Russell Brand made fun of the Jonas Brothers for wearing promise rings. He also made fun of Sarah Palin and said some shit about Republicans.
- Megan McCain hacked into MTVs computers to nominate her father and make him the winner in every category he was nominated in. If it wasn't for that Britney Spears would have been the big winner.
- Many liberals think Britney won three awards and are in denial over John McCain's wins.
- Bill O'Reilly introduced Rihanna's performance. The prompter was having problems so he flipped out.
- Jordin Sparks said that anyone who doesn't wear a promise ring is a slut.
