African-Americans are Americans from Africa or Africans from America. It's rather sketchy, actually.

Because Africa probably doesn't exist, considering that nobody really seems to talk about it all that much even though it supposedly has a whole bunch of bad stuff going on, it has been suggested that African-Americans are actually from Cuba.
