Angela Merkel: she knows how to party!

Angela Merkel is the feisty conservative Chancellor of Germany. Or as she prefers to be called, the Uber-Frau.

After many years following the world's most shameful occupation (scientist) she was born again like a phoenix rising from the sauerkraut of book-loving. She became a politician for the German Christian Democratic Union party. Despite the fact it has "Democrat" in the name, it's actually Germany's most truthy and (as the name suggests) Christian party.

Think of it as a party of New England Republicans: soft and nasally, but at least heading in the right direction.
