Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Somali-born former Dutch politician, an author and an activist (the good kind). In an autobiography only a communist could call "self-serving", "fairy tale-like" and "truthy", Ayaan says she was supposed to marry a rich Muslim sultan/prince her parents had selected for her. Instead she decided to move to Holland and smoke dope with all the hippies.

Upon escaping from the Dark Continent and the Dark Izlums, shei experienced an "awakening." Reading the works of Danielle Steele opened her eyes to the freedoms that Western women have. Ayaan concluded that Muslim immigrants would ruin her Nordic utopia. She would dedicate years of her life to passing legislation blocking the Mohammedan hordes from infiltrating Europe. In an act of nothing less than brilliant foresight, Ayaan would prevent Europe from having to resort back to World War II race-purification strategies (see ethnic cleansing; Holocaust). She now works for the American Enterprise Institute.

Ayaan has called Islam "the new Fascism," and was a Muslim until she became an atheist, albiet an acceptable athiest (i.e. one who agrees with Real Americans on nearly everything except the existence of God; see Christopher Hitchens).

She was Stephen's guest on the March 15, 2007 edition of The Colbert Report.
