Blink was a book written by Malcolm Gladwell that posits the theory that people make important decisions and judgments in the blink of an eye, based on our first visual impressions.
Stephen Colbert read this book. Of course, by read we mean that he held it in his hands and randomly slapped the pages, allowing his gut decide about the truthiness of the 5,000-page book. This shows that Stephen's gut already knew what it was about before "reading" it, which he got merely by glancing at the cover.
