The Black Panthers was a baseball team based out of the Nation of Islam and funded largely by civil rights leader and Muslim fanatic Malcolm X. Its chief rivals were the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka. The two of them, along with the Toronto Blue Jays, have gone down in history as the most un-American baseball teams to ever exist.

In 1958, the Black Panthers made an impressive run towards the World Series, but were defeated by the Tigers...the Detroit ones, not the Sri Lankans.
