George L.
From Wikiality
George L. was the second-place finisher in Stephen Colbert's Green Screen Challenge.
He is sixty-something, has a grey beard, and wears embarrassing plaid flannel sweaters.
George L. appeared on The Colbert Report on October 11, 2006 to accept defeat in the Challenge before being subjected to - err, being treated to Chapter 3 of Stephen Colbert Presents: Stephen Colbert's Alpha Squad 7 - Tek Jansen the New Adventures, in which Tek lands his spaceship on Station Theta-Zeus-Aquarius and is then attacked by a space dinosaur. Mr. L. seemed to enjoy it.
Mr. L. then beat Stephen Colbert in a lightsaber duel by stabbing him in the privates, but it seems likely that Stephen, being a renowned Jedi Master, let his guest win in order to be sporting. Due to the regenerative powers of his balls, he was back on his feet and fully healed quickly, and he graciously took a bow with George L.
George L.'s Greenscreen Challenge Entry
George L.'s entry incorporated impressive special effects and a storyline that definitely should have been part of Episode I.
Summary
After crash-landing his fighter in the hangar bay of a Trade Federation starship, Stephen single-handedly takes out a legion of battle droids with his lightsaber.
Once the droid forces are defeated, Stephen is greeted by the lovable Jar Jar Binks who is hoping Stephen might be able to suggest a Representative for his newly-freed Rebel district.
George L. Trivia
- George L. is a fan of science fiction.
- George L. believes that he may own all of the Star Wars movies except for maybe Episode I (which is unforgivable, it being the best one ever made by far).
- The flannel worn by George L. can melt solid granite.
- The preferred lightsaber color of George L. is blue, and he was mean-spirited enough to force Stephen Colbert to use the red lightsaber as if he was an evil Sith and George a heroic Jedi. Stephen, however, kept in mind that the heroes would be able to tell the good from the bad irregardless of lightsaber color, and consented with grace and dignity.
- Even though George L. can be a jerk sometimes, he is part of the Alliance of Good Georges and is forevermore endeavoring to combat evil and triumph in the War of Georges.
