Mr. Johndroe is from Fort Worth, Texas. He's also served as the press secretary for Laura Bush and the Department of Homeland Security.

He began serving President Bush as soon as he took office in January 2001 and has been serving ever since. This probably means the Greatest President appointed him, but his White House bio doesn't say for sure. Karl Rove may have appointed him.
