American Gypsy

Gyspies are dark, dangerous, magical peoples who would as soon kill you as look at you. With their abilities to tell fortunes, grant wishes, control minds, manipulate weaker souls, and hide in plain sight, Gypsies are sort of like a mash-up of leprechauns, Jews, and Big Feet.

Because they are (probably) humans, Gypsies seem to resemble the Jews most in this tripartite mixture - especially in ability to strip a man of his last dollar, and to claim persecution in such non-existent historical events as "Nazi genocide." Unlike the Jews, however, all Gypsies are very good dancers.

Gypsies can be found all over the world in places where they haven't been killed off, forcibly moved, or forbidden to settle. While they prefer their "own" name ("Rom" or "Roma") to the term "Gypsy," they will answer to any name that is accompanied with the jingle of coins or the crinkle of good ol' American money.
