Stephen's Book Club has determined that Highlights for Children is one of the rare books not destroying America and has spared it from the flames.

Highlights for Children is an amusing, fun-filled magazine usually found in the waiting rooms of pediatricians and dentists.

In 2006, Highlights Magazine published its one billionth copy and turned 60 years old, surviving the advent of TV, video games and many other things more entertaining than Highlights Magazine.
