Hot Ghetto Mess is a FOX-style reality show on BET that is purportedly an uncensored look at "the real" African-American (black) culture.

Critics of the show believe it will do nothing more than reinforce stereotypes without the alleged intention of "informing" people of the darker race what their poorer brothers and sisters are actually doing when they don't think anyone is watching.
