Immunity (legal term)

1. a protection from being charged with a crime, being investigated for a crime, prosecution for allegedly breaking a crime, any liability or fees for any actions legal or extra-legal, name-calling, hair-pulling and other step in the legal system. Immunity may be granted before or after an alleged crime has occurred, or even if one has not occurred or before one has been defined.
