Merv Griffin was a television producer, talk show host, actor and game show creator.

He died August 12, 2007 after having been sued a few times for "palimony" by two guys. He never denied being gay (except when it was fashionable to do so) and told people, who asked, to find something more interesting to talk about rather than the sex life of an 80-year-old man.
