Michael Battle used to serve at the pleasure of The Greatest President Ever as the former Director of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). As a member of the Justice Department, and a valuable contributor to "Team Speedy", Mr. Battle seems to have had little responsibility for any decisions about the so-called "controversial" firings of any U.S. Attorneys. Still, he did have the job of informing the attorneys that they were getting canned.

Mr. Battle gave his own notice on Monday, March 5, 2007, thus dis-barring himself from future membership in the "TGIDOJF Club".
