His Airness(born February 17, 1963) is a Semi-retired American professional basketball player, golf and baseball superstar(only when Shell and Chevron will sponser him), superhero and active businessman. His website states, "By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time." That is not at all an arrogent statement. In 1981, Jordan earned a basketball scholarship to the University of North Carolina, where he majored in cultural geography...or was it finger painting????
Jordan's individual accolades and accomplishments include 24 MVP awards, 32 All-NBA First Team designations, 22 All-Defensive First Team honors, 30 NBA All-Star Game appearances and three All-Star MVP, ten scoring titles, three steals titles, 15 NBA Finals MVP awards, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. He holds the NBA record for highest career regular season scoring average with 130.12 points per game, as well as averaging a record 133.4 points per game in the playoffs. He is only second to Wilt Chamberlan for locker room groupy 3 ways.
No one really knows if he is still playing or retired.

Jordan is one of the most marketed sports figures in history. He has been a major spokesman for such brands as Nike, Addidas, Rebook, The Heritage Foundation, Black Water, Enron, Comcast, Microsoft, Intel corp., Apple, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Gatorade, Reveron Steven's funeral home, McDonald's, Ball Park Franks, Rayovac, Wheaties, Hanes, and MCI (These are the legal ones anyways). Micheal says,"I didn't sell out, I bought in!!!"

To help with under priveledged kids from....well wherever...he set up Sweatshops to promote all of his endorsement deals (especially with Nike). It keeps them off the streets and gets them envolved with family oriented activities. ITS A WIN, WIN.
