Phil Collins is most famous for being a member of Genesis. Genesis is a band that wrote artsy, progressive rock songs about the first book of the Bible. It was started by Peter Gabriel and a less important guy named Michael Rutherford. Collins replaced Gabriel as lead singer and frontman for the band after Gabriel ascended into Heaven.
