Richard Armitage
From Wikiality
Richard Armitage was the second-in-command at the State Department during the first Bush Administration.
Much like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney he was a decorated Vietnam veteran, who used his refined diplomacy skills and neck-less medical condition to rise up through the political ranks.
He was later implicated in the Valerie Plame case, and later admitted to being the source of the CIA leak. Fortunately for him, Lewis Libby kindly offered to take the blame.
Factoids
- Armitage was in the Navy, and was briefly a stand-in for that sailor guy in the Village People.
- He received an honorary knighthood from the United Kingdom in 2005, becoming Sir Armitage of Bworston.
