Slovakia is a country that's still kicking itself for the very dumb decision of breaking up with the Czech Republic. Slovakia's capital is Bratislava, which used to be the capital of Hungaria a few hundred years ago or so. Like everything else in Slovakia, its capital is a hand-me-down. Slovakia is Central Europe's middle child - the Jan Brady of the former Soviet Satellite states.
