During The Check-In with John Stewart on April 26, 2007, Stephen used the time to record his living will, as follows:
| I, Stephen Colbert, being of sound mind hereby declare that in the event that I am rendered unconscious and unable to participate in discussions regarding my medical care, my desire is that I not die. I do not want to die. Do anything possible to keep me from dying: experimental treatments, organ harvesting, forced organ harvesting, that, uh, that paddly shock thing with the "Clear!" bzzzz. You know? And uh, in fact do that even if I'm dead, 'cause you don't know, maybe I'll be the first guy to come back... I'm sorry, the second. |
