The Dark Side (philosophy)

1. the type of thinking that allows Americans to better combat terrorists by increasing our understanding of their tactics through the adoption of them
2. actions necessary to win the War on Terror that were once inconceivable, but are now accessible by The Greatest Vice President Ever.

Before 9-11, the type of thinking that was not allowed. But once Congress was finally on-board with The Greatest President Ever's sound terrorist-fighting policies, The Dark Side is not only allowed, but encouraged.

The Dark Side was The Wørd on the August 7, 2007 edition of "The Colbert Report".
