has bestowed upon all of humankind. Thank you Dr. Colbert, thank you.


The Stephen and Evelyn Memorial Service is a foundation with the stated goal of allowing future generations to have occasion to remember how great The Colbert Report was.

It was initiated on the July 12, 2006 edition of The Report by Mort Zuckerman, who promised to endow it with a lot of money, rather than making a donation to the Stephen and Melinda Gates Foundation.
