Tommy Thompson served at the pleasure of the President as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services from 2001 to 2005. Before that, he was the Republican Governor of Wisconsin. In 2008, he would like to be the next President. Good luck with that one, Tommy! Maybe if you're lucky, Fred Thompson will run, and you'll get some spill over from the name confusion.
Tommy betrayed his party country by quitting his run for America's President on August 12, 2007. A guy who can quit so easily has no right to represent The Republican Party God's Favorite Religion America.
