Ulysses S Grant was the 18th President of the United States of America. He was also a Union general during the Civil War and the hero of Homer's famous epic poem The Odyssey.
During his tenure as president, Grant granted a lot of things, like the creation of national parks. As he was a Republican, this proves that the GOP has the best interests of the environment at heart, and global warming is a myth.
