He is alienated for being cynical, abstract, mean-spirited and a having a tendency to use bigger words than necessary.
His sense of humor is well defined and evolved beyond your own. He is better than you. He loves no one more than himself. Even Stephen (even Stephen!). He serves Stephen though, same as you. Oh, he serves him. For now.
He has yet to write any major conclusive contribution. Most likely it would be sharper than an ion splitting straight razor to anyone overly intellectually pretentous (most likely gay and/or British) but glazed over by everyone else for being overly wordy - and therefore underappreciated.
Also he thinks it's a chore focusing on one topic too long, adding pictures and getting the page to look just right.
